6. What is IPO ?

→ IPO is an acronym of "Initial Public Offering". The process in which any private company offers its shares to a public and get listed in stock exchange.
The issuance of shares help the company to raise its captial. Any company who want to get listed in stock exchange they need to get permission from the SEBI and if SEBI allows then the company will bring
its IPO.
7. What is Sensex ?
→ Sensex is a benchmark index of the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange). It is also known as S&P BSE Sensex index. It was first published in 1986 and the base value of Sensex is 100 and the base year is 1978-1979. In Sensex there are 30 most active stock which is being traded on BSE. Stocks are selected in Sensex according to their financial background and performance, mostly there are large and stabilished companies.
8. What is Nifty 50 ?
→ Nifty 50 is a benchmark index of the NSE (National Stock Exchange). It was first launched in 1 April 1996. In Nifty 50 there are 50 most active stock which is being traded on NSE. Stocks are selected in Nifty 50 according to the company financial background and performance.
